Review: Rushing the Goal by Toni Aleo

rushing the goalRating – 4/5; genre- Romance

Theme- Second chance/ sassy and strong heroine

This is the first book i read from Toni Aleo, the author and will definitely not be the last.

It is a second chance romance for both the Hero as well as Heroine.
I like strong woman character in a romance books and well Lucy was strong, sassy and completely loving. Lucy is single mom, loves her daughter and can/ will do anything for her.

Though she is this strong person but the very human. She breaks down when then gets tough however she has the guts to get up and face the challenges.
I really liked the dialog s between her and her three brothers. They tease her to the core but are super protective and she also gives back good.

I liked Benji. He is this dorky/ nerdy hero who is the goalie in Assassin team. He has his own story.
Again he is super lovable and can handle (for lack of better word) a strong woman which Lucy is.

last but not the least loved Angie. Cute cute kid who loves her mother dearly.

I don’t want to give away anything the blurb pretty much tells you that, I  really recommend  to all who are looking for a nice love story to read.
